Apple-oatmeal Muffins

1 cup shredded raw apples

1 ½ cup rolled oats

2 tablespoons oil

¼ cup chopped nuts

½ teaspoon salt

½ cup raisins or chopped dates

½ - ¾ cup water

Wash apples, quarter and cut out the core. Shred on medium shredder. Combine all ingredients. Mix well, but not very long, with a fork. Let stand for a few minutes to absorb moisture. Spoon into oiled muffin pans, filling pans well and rounded. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes.
